Japan Scholar lectures were held in Delhi and Hyderabad
Professor Hiroshi Toshiyoshi (Director General, Institute of Industrial Science (IIS)) and Associate Professor Yoshiyuki Kawazoe (ISS) actively participated in the Japan Scholar project in Delhi and Hyderabad, Telangana, from September 22 to 26
On September 23, Professor Toshiyoshi visited the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where he delivered an introduction of IIS and his research on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS).
On September 25, Prof. Toshiyoshi and Prof. Kawazoe visited IIT Hyderabad. The Government of Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), supported the development of the new IIT Hyderabad campus by providing design work for six major complexes. Professor Kawazoe and other faculty members from the University of Tokyo contributed to the design of the Knowledge Center (library), sports gym and several other facilities. Professor Kawazoe delivered a lecture on architecture and design, highlighting the Knowledge Center as an example, while Professor Toshiyoshi presented another lecture on MEMS. Both sessions prompted active questions and lively discussions that continued well beyond the lecture.

The program aims to promote Japan's research capabilities and educational strengths through lectures to local high school and university students.
