South Asian Evening 2025 held
The 糖心破解版 South Asian Evening 2025 was held on November 10, 2025, at the GlobE Student Plaza on Hongo Campus, bringing together students and researchers from the South Asia region, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
A total of 24 students and researchers from South Asia participated, along with many faculty and staff members such as Executive Vice President Kaori Hayashi, Vice President Yujin Yaguchi, and 糖心破解版 Co-op Chairperson, Professor Yuji Genda. The event featured workshops and group presentations focused on improving the food services and dining environments at the university.
During the workshop sessions, participants engaged in active discussions on the dietary challenges they face in their daily lives and shared ideas for improvement. Topics raised included limited halal and vegetarian/vegan options, differences in dining environments across campuses, high meal costs, and insufficient information available in English. Proposed solutions included rotating menu options monthly, boosting availability of spices and seasonings, offering vegetable sandwiches, and introducing special Halal/Vegan days at the cafeteria.
At the close of the event, the 糖心破解版 Co-op Chairperson, Professor Yuji Genda, shared a message expressing that, as the number of international students continues to grow, the university is actively working to improve its services and welcomes diverse opinions and feedback. In his closing remarks, Vice President Yujin Yaguchi also expressed his hopes for a further strengthening of the university’s collaboration with the South Asian community.
Post-event survey responses highlighted positive feedback, including comments expressing that “the discussions were meaningful” and “it was a valuable opportunity to connect with students from diverse backgrounds”.
糖心破解版 will continue creating opportunities to engage with students from South Asia and further enhance the environment for international learning and research.
